Brady woke up early (5:50 a.m.) and we put him down for an early nap so we could go out sightseeing in the afternoon. Lindsay spent the morning at various activities sponsored by the hotel. She made a bracelet, two suncatchers, painted a coconut and a special surprise for Grandma that should come in the mail sometime soon.

After lunch, we headed out to the Bishop Museum in Honolulu. They had several exhibits for kids that were really cool. One was a "build your own roller coaster" type of exhibit that captured the kid's (and David's attention) for quite a while. There was also an interesting volcano display. It was very hot outside and the kids got tired after a while.

We headed to the Ala Moana Shopping Center in Honolulu to go to Hilo Hattie's and get souvenirs. I somehow convinced a very reluctant David to get matching Hawaiian shirts (for the boys) and dresses (for the gals) for the family. He was extremely reluctant but he finally gave in. Lindsay is so excited to model the matching family outfits. We are planning on doing this on Friday night as a farewell to Hawaii. David thinks we will look like tourists from Ohio but I love my new dress so who gives a heck?

We had dinner at California Pizza Kitchen in the mall. Brady was really fussy. We then headed back to hotel, spent from day in the city!

After Brady went to bed, Lindsay spent an hour explaining why she did not want to get married because she does not want be a Mommy when she grows up because she is afraid of how a baby comes out of a mother. We tried to explain it to her but the entire concept is terrifying to her. She even cries when she talks about it. David and I laughed - Lindsay got both of our worst traits - the worrying from me and the doddling from David.
